What the Client Needed
Qualified Tutor were looking for a way to host a global event, but with accessibility for those unable to travel to London. This live hybrid event would have an in-person aspect based in London, and a virtual aspect for the wider global audience. Having never done this before, Qualified Tutor were looking for someone to help with hybrid event planning, hybrid event production and hybrid event management.
150 attendees in total, with 40 attending the live, in-person event in London. The hybrid event was taken by one main speaker with lots of discussion from industry leaders in the audience.
The hybrid event was to involve broadcasting several live presentations with slides and broadcasting the discussion with Tutoring leaders. Split into 4 sessions, the hybrid event needed to be designed with engagement in mind, to inspire the online audience to participate in live event feedback throughout the day.
What Vievma Delivered
How did we help with this hybrid event?...
We provided hybrid event production with a 2 camera, 2 crew setup and 1 online event manager to broadcast everything live. As well as integrated links and QR codes to capture feedback from the online audience as the day progressed. This helped Qualified Tutors meet one of their main event goals, as per above.
Alongside on-screen graphics, the online audience felt part of the discussion, commenting on various aspects as the event progressed.
Although Qualified Tutors hadn't planned a hybrid event like this before, we helped this hybrid event be a success. With a fast event setup, and engaging delivery, the feedback from both the attendees and Qualified Tutors as a host reflected the success of the event...
